Honoring Heroes with Firing Parties (21-Gun Salutes)
At the Funeral Honors Liaison, we are proud to coordinate Firing Parties, also known as 21-Gun Salutes, to honor veterans and first responders at their memorial services. These powerful tributes are provided by local American Legions and VFWs, ensuring a fitting salute to those who served our country.
21-Gun Salutes: A Tradition of Respect
The 21-Gun Salute is a long-standing military tradition, symbolizing the highest respect for the fallen. This solemn ceremony is an essential part of military funerals, honoring the sacrifices made by our heroes. We work directly with local American Legions and VFWs to arrange these services.
Small Donation to Support Local Veterans' Organizations
While the Firing Party services are provided for veterans’ memorials, they do require a small donation. All donations go directly to the American Legion and VFWs, helping them maintain their operations and ensure that they can continue to serve the local veteran community with proper logistics and resources.

Veterans are entitled to a free burial at any national cemetery that still allows human remains to be laid to rest. By pre-planning, we ensure that a cemetery plot is reserved for you at a national cemetery, or a local cemetery of your choice, completely free of charge. This service is available to veterans who wish to plan ahead, and we are honored to help take care of these arrangements.
